After the launch of the original site — formerly geodaly.com, put online in 2009 — an attentive and respectful work around my father's career was undertaken.

The writing of the content, nourished by long research in his archives, allowed me in particular to recover old issues of Jazz Hot, then under the direction of Charles Delaunay.

I also had the encouragement of Felix Sportis from Jazz Hot, as well as the joy of rediscovering photographs of my father thanks to Jean‑Pierre Leloir, who has since passed away.

It was through him that some of the photographs devoted to Geo Daly's career resurfaced — some dating from a time before I was even born.

After the birth of my daughter Elena, long hours were devoted to gathering and putting online his biography, discography, archives and audio documents.

This time was not in vain: it allowed me, in a certain way, to remain a little while longer with my father and with what he had accomplished as an artist.

The majority of audio recordings were made from the original media — 78 rpm, 45 rpm and 33 rpm.

Then came the moment when the original web designer ceased his activity and returned to me the materials needed to bring the site back online.

Thanks to the precious help of my brother‑in‑law — a programmer — the site has been able to be reborn in a new form.

The design has been rethought according to today's technical and digital possibilities, including AI.

The content remains faithful to the original spirit, while offering a renewed presentation, more interactive, enriched with videos and many surprises.
